Making pie with my preschoolers has become somewhat of a tradition over the last couple of years. So as we explored apples and studied the United States of America, we decided that making the "American Apple Pie" might be a good start to our kitchen exploration at school. We had so much fun measuring out each ingredient, putting our pie dough in the pie plates and then filling it with our delicious apple filling and finally topping our pies with pie dough and cinnamon and sugar. Take a peak at our pie making process.
And the final product turned out wonderful! Great work kids. Who knew that making homemade apple pie with6 youngsters could be so much fun.
