Decorating Gingerbread Houses

It's just not Christmas Time at Shining Stars Preschool unless you get the chance to decorate a Gingerbread House.  The kids really enjoyed this very messy, very creative art project.  Plus a bonus that candy and frosting is involved.  Take a peek and see each of their masterful creations that they made.

Halloween 2011

I just LOVE Halloween!  Especially on our Halloween party day at preschool.  I love to see all the kids dressed in their costumes, and their excited personalities come shining through.  We had a ton of fun at our Halloween party.  And each of the kids were so cute!
Above is our Class all decked out for our Party!
Adorable Snow White!
SWAT Team Member!
A Knight in Shining Armor (minus the helmet).
 Pretty Princess!
 Beautiful Butterfly!
And Miss Jessie from Toy Story!
Miss Liz made us a fun Halloween cake and cupcakes to enjoy during our party.  It turned out fabulous!  Thanks Liz!  You are so talented!
After we ate cake, we moved right onto more sugar frenzie.  We decorated sugar cookies (which they took home).
 And we decorated Trick-or-Treating buckets.
Next it was over to the neighbors for a little Trick-or-Treating practice!  They loved this part of the party.
All-in-all...It was a great day.  I felt bad sending these littles ones home all sugared up and hyper.  But that's what school parties are all about!
Happy Halloween!

Shining Star Farmers

For the month of October, one of our themes were "FARMS".  It was a fun to learn more about farms and their animals.  My favorite day was talking about the farmer and pretending that we were farmers.  The kids each put together their own tractors, and then we turned them into farmers (well at least on paper).  They turned out so cute I just couldn't resist posting the final "farmer' products.
Seriously, ADORABLE!  I just adore each of these sweet preschoolers!

Pumpkin Patch

Who doesn't love going to the pumpkin patch?
What a beautiful day for Shining Stars Preschool to visit the pumpkin patch.  The sun was shining and the sky was blue.  It was GORGEOUS!  We had so much fun on our field trip.  I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

At the end of the day there were mostly smiles.  But in reality I know that everyone had an amazing time at the Pumpkin Patch.
A HUGE THANK YOU to all of the parents that came and helped!
