We have had so much fun learning about the First Thanksgiving. We learned about how people from England boarded a ship called the Mayflower and headed to a New Land of freedom. The America's. Each student got to make their own Mayflower as we read the story of the Pilgrims' rough passage to the Americas.
The day before our Thanksgiving break, we gathered together as Pilgrims and Indians and feasted upon the yummy food that each brought to share. We were so lucky to have Mom's come and share in our festivities.
Sisters came to share as well.
We certainly had a great Thanksgiving Feast. Thank you to everyone for contributing to our feast. The food was delicious and the company was great. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
