Another Day at Preschool

We had been reading and talking about the book "The Napping House".  The kids thought it would be fun to act out the book and see how it would feel to sleep one on top of the other.  Silly kiddos!

Shape People

In the month of February one of our themes was Shapes.  The kids had the opportunity to create their own "Shape People" by using whatever shapes they wanted for whichever body parts.  I loved how each one turned out different.  Then they named them.  We had a few Shape Girl's, a Shape Mom and one Shape Eric.  It was a fun activity!

The Polar Regions

Taking our learning to the Polar Regions was so much fun!  We learned about Penguins, The Orca, the Arctic Hare, the Snowy Owl and many other animals.  We also learned about what grows (and doesn't grow) in the polar regions as well.  It was a great unit of study.
