Some of you may be wondering why few art projects have been coming home. Well....I have been keeping them to hang on our bulletin boards. We have the most beautiful FALL bulletin board right now thanks to the kids' art work. See the above picture.

We had a great time creating our Fall Trees and our water color leaves.

After we took our FALL walk around the neighborhood gathering fall leaves of all different colors, sizes and shapes, we came back to school where we made imprints of the leaves we collected.

After we had our fill of Fall leaves we turned our attention onto other FALL art projects. Scarecrows seemed to be the perfect object for us to create.

Every child had their own opinion about how they wanted their scarecrow to turn out. One little person first thought that her scarecrow should not have a face. I was able to help talk her into putting a cute little face on her scarecrow. It was pretty fun to see them decorate their scarecrows with pockets, faces and hay. It's been a fun start in our fall arts.
