Halloween Fun!

Happy Halloween!

One of our most favorite days at Preschool.  We LOVE to dress up!  Our day was filled with games, prizes, cookie decorating and of course loads of fun with crazy dressed up kiddos!

2013 Pumpkin Patch

What a gorgeous day we had at the Pumpkin Patch!  The sun was shining and the kids were smiling.  What more could you ask for.

Down on the Farm

During the month of October we learned all about FARMS!  We had fun exploring farm life, all the different farm animals and different foods that can be grown on farms.  It was a super fun theme.

Who Doesn't Like Apple Pie???

Apple Pie Day is always exhausting and rewarding at the same time.  I love watching these young kids make their very own little pies.  They are so excited that they created something so wonderful and delicious!  This will continue to be a tradition at Shining Stars Preschool.

Science Exploration - What's in an Apple

There is so much to learn about Apples!  We were able to do a taste test of 6 different kinds of apples and then make apple prints of 4 of those apples that we tasted.  We also learned that each apple has a star in the middle of it.  We have really enjoyed learning all about apples!

Look Out Preschool- Here We Come!

Well we hit the road running with this little group of preschoolers.  Some were a little (or a lot) nervous when they arrived.  But within the first hour fears were set aside and these little 3 and 4-year olds were happy and excited to be at preschool.  Our first day was filled with getting to know each other and our classroom.  I have learned to never underestimate a child's curiosity.

 We are looking forward to a fun-filled year with these wonderful preschoolers.  I can't wait to watch them grow and learn.

First Day of Pre-K

 We started the 2013-2014 school year off with some fun activities, new songs and of course new friends.  What could be better.

We had a GREAT first day of Pre-K.  And we are looking forward to an amazing year with AMAZING kids!
